As a group, pick a theme main ingredient for the games tonight, which must be featured in all of your pomes.
Round 1: Appetizer.
Write two gogyohka poems, which must accompany each other exquisitely, and act as your appetizer for your meal.
Round 2: Main Course.
Write the first half (the prose poem) of a haibun poem as a main course.
Round 3: Dessert.
Write two haiku for your dessert, incorporating a kiriji (cutting word) at the end of the pome to create a surprising “after taste.” Also, sneakily include your secret ingredient you found in the woods.
